Wild geese

Just as the dove is commonly used as a symbol of the Holy Spirit the ancient Celts third person of the trinity was represented as a wild goose.

Recently I was commissioned to paint for someone who wanted to give a gift to a friend… they asked me to paint something that would speak from God’s heart to their heart. They wanted a prophetic painting that would encourage their friend and at the heart of the painting was two wild geese.

I won’t write about the meaning and symbolism within the painting as that is for the person who commissioned me, but I will show the picture as I’m really happy with how it turned out!
