I was at Ridley Hall in Cambridge today lecturing on creative worship.
One of the exercises was to encourage the Studnet’s to consider what they desired for their placement churches- I called it ‘from -to’ paintings inspired by a verse in Romans from ‘death to life.’
The paintings were abstract but with distinct colours to portray what they wanted for their churches, from fear to love, sadness to joy, disunity to unity. It was a small way to introduce them to prayer painting. Simple paintings with a message.
What blew me away was the insight and longing of what they wanted for their churches. And the result was spot on too!
