Bags of blessing and peace

Once a month on our student team day were joined by one of our part time trainees based in Lowestoft.

Esther leads us in creative ways to reach out to people and last week she brought a great idea of simple bags with symbols that connect to what God is like or wants to give.

We then took 5 each out into the streets with a desire to meet 5 people to speak words of blessing and peace.

To give an extra excitement to the afternoon we spent time praying and asking God for clues as to who we would meet. We then wrote down some of the things we felt.

One of my clues was ‘a yellow scarf’ and I had a lovely conversation with a lady who had used to believe in God and our time talking was a reminder to her that she known and loved by God.
