Come and have a bird’s eye veiw

Back in January I painted at Fresh Strems conference during the sung worship times. It is something I do now and again to seek to offer an alternative way to connect and worship God but also seeking to bring something that I believe may be from His heart to the hearts of those around me.

The subject of the first painting took me somewhat by surprise. I had never painted a hot air balloon before but I felt strongly that it was something I should paint.

The perspective of it was to be looking up at one taking off, but with an invitation to come on up and have a birds eye veiw.IMG_4980.JPG

Sitting right behind me where I was painting (but a couple of rows back) was a lady who’s daughter had lots of pictures of hot-air balloons in her room. Later on she spoke to me about it and how encouraged she had felt by me painting. As she spoke the small whisper of the Spirit spoke saying “the painting is for her daughter.”

While the original has found a home I have done some high quality prints which I will limit to and only reproduce up to 100 times.

They measure 20 cm square, printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper and each one is mounted but not framed.

The cost is £45 plus postage and packing of £5.

Over half of all the profits from the print sales will go to The Light Project the charity that I founded nearly 20 years ago. This will help us continue to fund the work we do in Revealing Jesus on the streets and in pubs and cafes.
