I’m at the Pioneer annual gathering ‘Breakout.’ As part of the opening session I used a sculpture that I had made out of suitcases and painted in chalk paint.
The idea for those present was to write up the names of people on their hearts, and give over to Jesus the ones that they carry. He declares that his yoke is easy and his burden is light.
To represent this the suitcases are filled with bubble wrap, feathers and cotton wool balls.
Here’s some pictures after people wrote up names in the sculpture.
