I’ve just had a champagne lunch. Sitting in a park in London with a friend who is homeless. He brought a small bottle along to celebrate that after 5 years living in a tent he has managed to save up enough money to buy a small boat to live on.
For the past 3 years we’ve met up on and off to eat, pray and talk. He has no family and no friends.
Out lunch was a precious time to celebrate and give thanks to God for his provision and love for my friend.
I’ve kept the cork to sit on my desk as a prayer reminder.
