“It must be a Physiological experiment…” I overheard someone trying to make sense of what I was doing on the streets of Cambridge this morning. One of the Punt tour guides asked if I worked with a university and if I was conducting an experiment. I simply offered free hugs, alongside first time free hugger Hanna, my sister. We had great fun, turning a bit of a dreary Monday morning as people responded to our free hug signs with smiles, pictures, laughter and occasionally some hugs.
One young lady asked what we were doing. “We’ve got something so good we want others to know about it… God loves you and knows you.” She looked at me and said, “that’s a great message to share.”
Hanna and I got to share some simple messages of God’s love with some people. What a privilege.
