Rain stopped play today. There were 3 of us seeking to bring the love of God to people on the city centre Chaplaincy team. I ventured into Ladbrooks the betting shop with a tray of chocolate biscuits to sweeten up the day of the customers… and while I was in there it chucked it down so fiercely that my collegues had to pack up our display and table and chairs… I decided to use the last ten mins or so of our team time to pray for the city. As we prayed it rained twice as hard… Like a river from the skies!

This is what we need with the holy spirit. He needs to be poured out and cover our cities. Our attempts are great, sometimes powerful, but we need Him so badly.
