Furious Love

I’ll let you into a secret. How I usually chill on a winter’s evening off  is: TV or DVD on, lap top with 3 or 4 various programmes open, mobile phone to my left and a good book and a mug of tea to the right and I ‘chill juggle’ all at once. Love it. However, when the DVD went on ‘Furious Love’  I simply watched it… and did nothing else. It gripped me, not so much the stories and the ‘razmataz miracles’ but more so through the repeated Theological theme of ‘Love’ as the means in which the kingdom of darkness is being pushed back and defeated.

The story of the Satanist who had become a Christian when she encountered a lady who looked at her gaze seemly pierced her with love. The man who prayed for healing on the streets and the guy talking with ‘ladyboys’ in Thailand for God to meet with them and heal. Words of knowledge of what needed healing who then saw dramatic healing and answers to prayer, all love soaked and compassionate. Amazing.

This encourages me so much as I seek to show and live out the love of God, not just in my work, but in every moment. Furthermore, this film endorses the kind of evangelism that seeks to show love and meet with people and says, ‘want to experience what I’m talking about?’

This is what the ‘Furious Love’ web site says:

” Lives are being changed all over the world as a result of watching this film.”

Furious Love, sequel to Finger of God, is the story of one man’s journey into some of the darkest spiritual climates on earth to test the limits of God’s love. Watch his discovery and witness God’s response to the demon possessed in Africa, the heroine addicts of Madrid, and witches in Salem, Massachusetts. See this love in relentless pursuit of the persecuted church in India and the oppressed victims of sex trafficking in Thailand. This journey of LOVE will leave you undone and must be experienced to be believed.
